16 Days and Counting...
... until the first night of Miss Ohio competition!
Those who have supported me in the past know that at this time a Miss Ohio is usually already crowned, but this year the pageant was pushed back. Yesterday was the first time in four years that my dad did not spend Fathers day in Mansfield! While I have enjoyed and utilized the extra time, the realization that I have to be there in 11 days is always exciting and slightly unnerving.
The newly crowned Miss Ohio will have just under 2 months to prepare for Miss America preliminaries, being filmed in Hollywood September 5th to the 13th. Some state pageants are held as early as late April, while other women being crowned in late July will have only a month to prepare for Miss America.
