Congratulations to the New Miss Maple City, Erin Jeffery!

Well hopefully this work... Blogger wasn't cooperating last night when it wouldn't let me post pictures and all day today I couldn't open this Blog or anyone else’s... Now it's sporadically back!

I had planned to attend the pageant, but as expected, inclement weather hit and those who were able to go to the pageant with me were no longer willing, whereas those who were willing to brave the weather are not able.

Anyway, congratulations to the new Miss Maple City, Erin Jeffery! She is a vocalist who attends the University of Cincinnati and promotes supporting our troops, as her father is serving in Iraq. This will be Erin's third trip to Miss Ohio; last year she was Miss Ohio River and Miss North Coast prior to that. After Miss Ohio (America) last summer, she also competed in Miss Ohio USA and was Third Runner Up there. In addition to the title tonight she won Outstanding Interview and Talent. Allie Krucek [right] was named First Runner Up. She is a dancer who attends the University of Toledo and advocates Children's Health. Last year she competed at Miss Ohio as Miss Open City.





Sophia Davis [left] was Second Runner Up. She is a dancer from Miami University and her platform is "Every Child Counts: Improving Self-Esteem in Youth."





The Third Runner Up was Jodi Greene [right], she also won the Spirit Award. Jodi promotes Blood and Plasma Donation; she is a vocalist who attends the Ohio State University.

Finally, I am so proud of my fellow BGSU falcon, Janelle Zindroski [left] who was awarded Fourth Runner Up. She sings and plays the bagpipes; her platform is "Embrace Our Children To Secure Our Future."
