CALL FOR MISS & TEEN CONTESTANTS!
As most of my readers know, I have held five titles in the Miss America system and I truly feel like I’m ending my experience on a high note, as Miss Maumee Valley. Directors Eric and Linda Wagener offer a no-fuss one day pageant, years of pageant experience and an excellent prize package.
Eric and Linda are very supportive directors, having been “pageant parents” for several years, and directors for the past three years. In addition to a $1,000 scholarship, the winners of their program receive a photo shoot with Kyle Baugh of Gallippo’s photography!
On November 4, I will be crowning not only a new Miss Maumee Valley, but also a Miss All-America City. In one night, a contestant has double the opportunity to grace the Miss Ohio stage! Also, Eric and Linda are working to propel the Miss America system forward by hosting a Teen pageant. I believe it will happen in tandem with the Miss pageant on November 4. Regardless, this is a wonderful opportunity for teens to begin to cultivate their abilities, gain self confidence, meet new friends and mature into beautiful young women.
The Teens will compete in Interview, Sportswear, Talent, Evening Gown and likely an On-stage Question. This pageant has a very reasonably entry fee and the winner will compete to become Ohio’s Outstanding Teen next Spring. I believe like both Miss titles, this is open to Teens from anywhere in Ohio. (Contestants must be age 13 to 17; click here for more information.)
