Miss Lake Festival Continued...














Above Left: Heather Waterman, 19, is a sophomore at Wright State Lake Campus majoring in Business Administration. Her platform is Youth Mentoring. She will be singing "Someone Like You," from the musical Jekyll and Hyde.

Above Right: Tina Hogan, 18, is a recent graduate of Celina High; she plans to attend Bowling Green State University majoring in Musical Theatre and Apparel Merchandising. Her platform is School Funding Awareness. The website reports she'll also be singing "Someone Like You," but that is generally against the rules and obviously a mistype, as the local paper says she's singing the aria "Quando m'en vo," from La Boheme. Wait a minute... BGSU, School Funding and "Quando m'en vo" ... am I competing in Lake Fest again?! I can't wait to meet Tina!

Below Left: Jessica Bettinger, 18, is a recent Coldwater High graduate. She will attend the University of Cincinnati in Pre-Pharmacy. Her platform is the Special Olympics and she will be singing "Defying Gravity," from the musical Wicked.

Below Right: Lisa Canary, 17, she is entering her senior year at Celina High. She hopes to someday obtain a Masters degree in Youth Ministry, this is also her platform. She will be tap dancing to "We both reached for the gun," from the musical Chicago.



























Above Left: Erica Gelhaus, 18, is a recent graduate of St. Henry high. She hopes to earn a Masters degree in Music at Otterbien College. She advocated Literacy in elementary students and will perform the operatic aria, "Saper Vorreste" from Verdi's The Masked Ball.

Above Right: Sarah Stalder, 19 attends Ohio State University at Lima majoring in Business Management. Her platform is the Red Cross and she will sing the popular Italian aria "Se Tu Mami" by Pergolesi.

On the Left: Beth Giere, 18, is a recent graduate of Coldwater High; she plans to major in architecture at Ohio State University. She focuses on the issue of Standing up to Peer Pressure; she will play Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G on the piano.
