Best of Luck to the Miss Greater Cleveland Program!

Saturday night the North Royalton High school auditorium will surely be alive with entertainment as two Miss Ohio talent award winners give up their titles! While this program will not be a double crowning this year, I’m sure both Miss Open City 2005 Katelyn Koval [left] and Miss Greater Cleveland 2005 Laura Estrada [below left] will be on hand.

Seventeen young women from all around the state will compete for the title Miss Greater Cleveland; the pageant begins at 7 p.m.
The following contestant list is from the Miss Greater Cleveland website:

#1 Suzanne Bures; the photo on the left is from THIS site.
#2 Allison Bencar
#3 Ashley Hartman

#4 Andrea Andrycik [photo on the right] is a vocalist studying English and Education at Kent State University. For her plaform issue she promotes Youth Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention.

#5 Catherine Hauser [photo on the left] is a Bowling Green State University student studying Interpersonal Communications and Chemistry.
#6 Ashley Brown

#7 Kristen Marie Haas [photo on the left] is the current Miss Chillicothe. At Miss Ohio a few weeks ago she performed a Jazz Dance to "Dance with Somebody." This BGSU Dance Performance and Exercise Specialist major advocates Preventing Heart Disease in Women.

#8 Amy Allen [photo on the right] is a soulful vocalist. This graduate student at Mount Vernon Nazarene College volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.
#9 Allison Sundstrum

#10 Janelle Zindroski [photo on the left] is majoring in Chemistry and Psychology at BGSU. She is multi-talented, but usually showcases her vocal and bagpipe skills for pageants. Her platform is "Embrace Our Children To Secure Our Future."
#11 Dana Raponi is a student at John Carroll University.
#12 Brianna Savoca

#13 Laura Pennington [photo on the left] is a Pre-Law student, studying Political Science and Economic at Randolph-Macon Womens College. I believe her platform is Domestic Violence Prevention.

#14 Jennifer Nageotte [photo on the right] is a graduate student at Case Western. If I remeber correctly, I think she's a vocalist, but I could be wrong.
#15 (not competing)

#16 Elyse Healy [photo on the left] is the current Miss Stark County and was named Third Runner-up to Miss Ohio. This Youngstown State Pre-Law student sang "I, Don Quixote" and advocates Reaching Out to Individuals with Mental & Physical Disabilities.
#17 Krystle Formosa is a student at Ashland Univeristy.

#18 Monica Porostosky [photo on the right] competed for the title Miss Ohio Teen USA 2004 as Miss Madison.
