Interview Prep!

One of the most important aspects of pageant preparation is staying updated on current events and honing your interview skills. A common misconception is that all pageant contestants deliver memorized answers; I never memorize what I'm going to say, but it is important to think about pertinent issues and practice effective delivery.

Special thanks to my friend Jeff, who helped me review political/current events for several hours Saturday, as well as my boyfriend Loren who "quizzed" me. This was all sort of a mock-mock interview for a formal mock interview I had Sunday. Extra special thanks to the coordinator and judging panel yesterday. I don't know if all, or any of them read this, but they know who they are and I hope they know how appreciative I am that they gave of their time to help.
