Miss Ohio's Outstanding Teen Program and Miss Ohio Spring Forum!

Tomorrow, Saturday, April 22, 2006, Ohio will crown a new Outstanding Teen!

The pageant will take place at Lexington High School(103 Clever Lane Lexington, Ohio) at 7 p.m.

I haven't heard how many contestant's will be participating, but last year's Outstanding Teen, Ali Nance, who made the Top 15 last August at Miss America's inagural teen pageant, will surely be on hand.

This pageant was cleverly slated the same day at the Miss Ohio Spring Forum, so hopefully it will be a well attended event with many Miss contestants and their parents and E.D.'s sticking around to support the teens.

I am certainly planning to, but the current task at hand is final revisions on my Miss Ohio paperwork and Essays. Spring Forum is the final deadline for such submissions, as well as program book advertisements, Bowl-a-thon registration forms, talent selections and much more! People are often most surprised by the logistical paperwork headache pageants require. :)

The great thing about Spring Forum is that I'll finally get to meet all the contestants, learn the theme of this year's production, as well as a loose timeline of our events pageant week and most exciting of all, we'll draw/select our contestant numbers!

I'll blog about Spring Forum and the results of the Teen pageant as soon as I return from Lexington.
