A quick note from kangaroo country...

Greetings from the University of Akron (the kangaroos, how lame)! I am standing at a computer station in their student union as I await the awards ceremony to begin for the Forensics tournament I've competed in all day. Yes, I helped host one yesterday and am competing today. I had originally planned to attend Miss Greater Dayton this afternoon, but I am becoming more and more saddened as my competitive Forensics career draws to a close, and I figure, I can watch pageants for the rest of my life...

Speaking of pageants, two of my favorite people gave up their titles this weekend! I apologize I've not had time to do the usual pre-pageant blogging.... but huge congrats to the new Miss Central, Jodi Greene, crowned by my girl Emily Fitz-P last night! Results of who Roberta Camp has crowned have not yet surfaced.
