Congratulations to the New Miss Central Ohio, Jodi Greene!

Saturday one of my favorite pageant people, Emily Fitzpatrick, gave up the crown Miss Central Ohio. I’ve known Emily since we were roommates my second year at Miss Ohio and she is a blast, as you can see from the photo on the right where we’re posing in our “rock star outfits” for a production number back in ‘03! Jodi Greene was the lucky lady to receive Emily’s title.

Karissa Martin won First Runner-up, Swimsuit and Talent. She is a home-school high school senior who sings and advocates Skin Care Awareness. [Photo from Miss SEO's website.]







Second Runner-up, Interview and Casual Wear winner was Heather Strickland. Heather attends Kent State and works with the D.A.R.E. program as her platform. [Photo from Miss GC/OC site.]







Amanda Holzen was Third Runner-up. While she has experience in the Miss Ohio USA system, this was her first Miss America system pageant. She is a graduate of Kent State University and I believe she sings. Her platform is Dating and Domestic Violence. [Photo from Amanda's website.]





Katie Camp received Fourth Runner-up honors. She is a dancer, studying dance at Wright State. Her platform is Mentoring Through the Arts. [Photo from Katie's Facebook.]
