Miss America: Preliminary Night One

Preliminary competition for the Miss America pageant began tonight in Las Vegas. Congratulations to Miss Utah, Julia Marie Bachison [left] for winning the Outstanding Swimsuit award and Miss South Carolina, Erika Grace Powell [right] for winning the Outstanding Talent award with a vocal presentation of "Time to Say Goodbye."
