2006 Miss America Coverage: Talent

It's an improvement this year that the Top Five are competing in talent, unlike last year when only the final two talents were seen on television.

Miss Virgina, Kristi Glakas, sang "In His Eyes" from Jekyll and Hyde and finally, everyone at my "viewing party" all gave the same score.


Jennifer Berry, Miss Oklahoma was the only preliminary talent winner to make the Top Five, she performed a ballet en point to "Within," which my mom thinks sounds like Yanni.

Miss DC, Shannon Schambeau performed a tap dance to "My Strongest Suit" from Aida.

After a commercial break, Miss Georgia, Monica Pang, performed Chopin's "G# Minor " on the piano.

Finally, Alexa Jones performed a ballet en point to "Fuego."
