Father Knows Best

My dad is one of those people who is always worried about next weeks weather! I, on the other hand, figure it’s out of my control, so I deal with it as it comes… well this morning Ohio weather got the best of me.

I awoke at 4 a.m. to be in Bowling Green at 5 a.m. to go to a Forensics tournament… had I known Mother Nature was going to turn the road to glass, I would have gotten up earlier, but weather-ignorant I didn’t ever know it was supposed to snow. I feel so stupid because now it’s sunny and the roads have cleared, but having to drive 10 miles an hour made me miss the bus this morning, rather van, as the case may be.

Had I known I wasn’t going to todays tournament, I would have tried to go to Miss Chillicothe last night and Marlia’s Miss America send off today. :( An article about the later is below.
