Miss Portsmouth and Scioto Valley

The contestants in this pageant are as follows:

1. Kara Roberts- 23, is a dancer from Canal Winchester. She is a student at Columbus State Community College. “Volunteerism – the 6th Food Group” is her platform. She currently holds the title Beautys of America 20's; click here for Kara's Blog

2. Heather Strickland- 19, of Massillon will present a poetry reading of Maya Angelou’s "Phenominal Women." She attends Kent State University-Stark Campus and has chosen “DARE” (drug abuse resistance education) as her platform. Heather was 1st runner up to Miss North Coast earlier this fall.

3. Jessica Evans- 19, is a vocalist, who has sang “At Last” at past pageants, from Wheelersburg. She attends Shawnee State University and has chosen “S.H.I.E.L.D.” as her platform.
4. Lezleigh Robinson- an article written by former Miss Chilicothe and Portsmouth, Amanda Rase about Lezleigh can be found by clicking here. No photo could be found.
5. Candice Cassidy- Google provided no sound information or photo.

8. Jodi Greene- 23, is a vocalist, who has sang “Orange Colored Sky” and “Big Time” at recent pageants, from Columbus. She attends Ohio State University and has selected “Together We Can Save a Life: The Importance of Blood and Plasma Donation” as her platform. Recently Jodi was 1st runner up at Miss Lake Erie.

10. Stephanie Albrecht- 19, she was the first Runner-up to Stacie Offenbach, Miss Ohio USA, as Miss Portsmouth USA this fall. [On the right, Stepahnie is in the white dress; image from the Miss Ohio USA website]

11. Nanciann Strosnider- 19 or 20, a vocalist who sang “Once Upon a Time” last year at Miss Ohio. She is a Sophomore studying Musical Theatre at Elon University. Her platform is Beats Per Measure, developing grants and scholarships that will sustain at-risk fine arts programs. Nanciann held the title Miss South Central 2004.

12. Roberta Camp- 21, is a vocalist, who sang “Blessed” at Miss Ohio last year, from Orient. She attends Columbus State Community College, and her platform is “Change our World: Build Character.” Click here for Roberta's Blog. Roberta holds the title Miss Greater Dayton 2004.
